What is Ambient Intelligence?

“Ambient Intelligence (AmI) ” is understood as intelligence lurking in the environment or as an environment embedded with intelligence. Here, intelligence lurking in the environment resembles nothing so much as fairies and goblins dwelling in our ordinary life. To these beings we attached the name “mushrooms”. Then, an environment embedded with intelligence is the world where fairies and goblins, or mushrooms are living, which we call “Mush-Room”. For further details, see “World of Mushrooms”.
