Using these techniques it is possible to create a drawing editor that can be used to draw and edit Vispatch programs. Clicking in one of the scope figure selects modes for creating black figures. Clicking in another selects modes for creating red figures. The top scope figure selects modes to move and delete figures. The bottom scope figure includes two extra modes for creating black and red rule templates.

The area left for actual drawing is small because the Applet below is kept small for display on 600 X 800 pixel monitors. To see a larger version of this applet with more drawing area, click here.
