Demo1: Spatiotemporal interporation in multi-slit view

A demonstration of spatiotemporal interpolation of spatial patterns in multi-slit viewing. Letters 'A' and 'B' are shown only through multiple slits. The movements of the letters make their identification easy. You can check the interpolation effect by stopping the movie. Since the two letters move in the opposite directions, the spatiotemporal interpolation cannot be ascribed to observer's tracking eye movements. A quicktime movie was generated from the stimulus images employed in the experiments. The inter-slit interval is 15 pixels (30 min under the experimental setup). Due to low temporal resolution of the quicktime movie, the interpolation effect is significantly weaker than that obtained under the experimental setup, where temporal resolution of the display was 200 Hz.
