Apr. 1, 2022 -
Masayuki Hashisaka received his B.E., M.E., and Ph.D. degrees in Science from Kyoto University, Japan, in 2004, 2006, and 2009, respectively. He worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at Tokyo Institute of Technology from 2009 to 2017. He joined NTT Basic Research Laboratories, Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation in 2017. Since then, he has been engaged in the precise measurement and control of quantum electronic properties in nanoscale semiconductor devices. He was a Research Director of a PRESTO project by Japan Science and Technology Agency from 2017 to 2021 (concurrent post). He was appointed as Distinguished Researcher of NTT in 2022. He is currently a member of Quantum Solid State Physics Research Group. He received the 29th International Conference on the Physics of Semiconductor Young Author Best Paper Award, the Young Scientist Award of the Physical Society of Japan in 2016, and the Young Scientist’s Prize from the Minister of Education, Culture, Sport, Science, and Technology in 2018. He is a member of the Physical Society of Japan.
