From Narita Airport

How to get to Atsugi city from Narita International Airport

There are two simple ways to get to your hotel near Hon-Atsugi station from Narita Airport:

  • By Bus: Narita Airport → (Airport Limousine Bus) → Hon-Atsugi station (Fare: ¥3,600)
  • By Train: Narita airport →(JR Narita Express Train)→ Shinjuku →(Odakyu Line)→ Hon-Atsugi station (Fare: ¥3,390 + ¥500)

By Airport Limousine Bus

This is the easiest way to access Hon-Atsugi but the service runs about once an hour. The bus ticket counter is located inside the Terminal building, just outside the immigration exits. There several bus companies running to various destinations so please ensure that you choose the bus bound for "Hon-Atsugi Station/Hiratsuka (Tamura Depot)" and disembark at Hon-Atsugi. The bus takes ~2.5 hours.

The return bus from Hon-Atsugi to the airport requires a reservation and advance purchase of a ticket is recommended. The ticket counter in Hon-Atsugi station is open from 9:00 to 19:00. Further information about this service can be found at:

By Train

Hon-Atsugi can also be accessed by train using the route shown below that involves two train journeys.

Narita to Hon-Atsugi
  1. Narita Express
    The JR Narita Express (NEX) from the airport to Shinjuku takes ~75 minutes and costs ¥3,390. The NEX station and vending machines to purchase tickets are located on the basement floor of the airport terminal.

  2. Odakyu Line
    Disembark the NEX at Shinjuku station and then take the Odakyu Line bound for "Odawara" or "Hakone-Yumoto" station. You can either take the Limited-Express (Romance-car), Rapid Express or Express. The tickets for the Odakyu line can be purchased at vending machines located in the station. The fare is ¥500 to Hon-Atsugi station for the express/rapid express train. The fare on the Romance-car is ¥1,070 and you will need a reserved seat ticket. The Express train runs every 10 minutes and takes ~50 minutes to Hon-Atsugi station.

From Haneda Airport

How to get to Atsugi city from Haneda Airport

There are two simple ways to get to your hotel near Hon-Atsugi station from Haneda Airport:

  • By Bus: Haneda Airport → (Airport Limousine Bus) → Hon-Atsugi station (Fare: ¥1,550)
  • By Train: Haneda Airport → (Keikyu Line) → Yokohama → (Sotetsu Line) → Ebina → (Odakyu Line) → Hon-Atsugi (Fare: ¥890)

By Train

The second way is to come to Hon-Atsugi station is by train using the transportation route shown below. It involves three short train journeys.

Access from Tokyo International(haneda) airport
  1. Keikyu Line
    First take the Keikyu Line to Yokohama, this takes ~30 minutes and costs ¥450. There are some direct trains bound for "Misaki-guchi" which stop at Yokohama, but most of the trains from Haneda airport require a transfer at Kamata onto a train which goes to Yokohama. The Keikyu Line runs various services such as Local, Express, Rapid Express etc. and further information can be found at the platform or ticket gate.

  2. Sotetsu Line
    From Yokohama station, transfer to the Sotetsu Line for "Ebina". All express trains terminate at Ebina and it takes ~30 minutes costing ¥310.

  3. Odakyu Line
    From Ebina transfer to the Odakyu Line bound for Odawara. It is a ~5 minute ride to Hon-Atsugi and it costs ¥130.
