Target of the research |
By fusing nanomechanical devices capable of handling minute vibrations (phonons) with light, electricity and magnetism, we aim to realize cutting-edge applications such as ultra-energy-saving photoelectric conversion and ultra-sensitive charge and magnetic detection, as well as to develop new physics based on the interaction of phonons with photons, electrons and spins, and to extract new functions that have never been done before.
