ISNTT2024 — International School and Symposium on Nanodevices and quanTum Technologies
December 2 to 6, 2024, NTT Atsugi R&D center, JAPAN
General Information
ISNTT is an international school and symposium in the field of nanoscale/quantum devices and quantum technologies. The school and symposium are hosted by NTT Basic Research Laboratories (BRL) at the NTT Atsugi R&D Center in Atsugi, Kanagawa, Japan. The first symposium was held in March 2000 and its scope and name evolved into its present form in 2009. The symposium is held biennially and it brings together leading academics, scientists, and students with NTT BRL researchers to foster communication and collaboration.
The BRL School was first held in 2002 and it hosts a series of tutorial lectures given by internationally renowned academics and/or scientists. The BRL School is also held biennially and the theme of the school continuously evolves with emphasis on the latest topics and trends.
Scope of Symposium
- Quantum communication and networks
- Quantum computations and simulations
- Quantum metrology and sensing
- Quantum dynamics and coherent control in nanodevices
- Hybrid quantum systems
- Mesoscopic superconductivity
- Transport and optical properties of nanostructures
- Attosecond phenomena and lightwave-driven quantum phenomena
- Topological materials and quantum Hall systems
- Spintronics and spin related phenomena
- Physics in 2D materials
BRL School
The BRL School will be held as a part of ISNTT 2024. The theme of the school will be Quantum information (Theory and Experiment).
