International Symposium on Nanoscale Transport and Technology (ISNTT2009) will be held from January 20 to 23, 2009 in NTT Atsugi R&D center. Two series of International Symposium, International Symposium on Nanoelectronics, Nanostructures, and Carrier Interactions (NNCI) and Mesoscopic Superconductivity and Spintronics (MS+S) have been so far organized in NTT since 2000. They are now jointly organized as a new series of symposium, "ISNTT2009", for stimulating discussion between the closely related two research fields.

Scopes

ISNTT2009 covers all the topics related to the nanoscale transport and technology. The followings is the list of covered subjects, but not limited;

• Carrier interaction phenomena
• Coherent control and decoherence
• Cooling and Trapping Atoms
• Low dimensional structures (quantum dots, nanowires and nanotubes etc.)
• Mesoscopic superconductivity
• Micro and nanomechanical systems
• Nanodevices and nanoelectronics
• Nanolithography and self-assembling
• Nanoprobing and nanoscale characterization
• Neutral atom entanglement
• New physics and experiments in the quantum regime
• Quantum computation and information processing
• Spintronics and spin related transport
