BRL School

The BRL School will be held as a part of ISNTT 2019. The theme of the school will be Hybrid Quantum Systems and its lectures will be open to all symposium delegates.

History of ISNTT

ISNTT is an international symposium in the field of nanoscale quantum and photonic technologies. The symposium is hosted by Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NTT) at its Basic Research Laboratories (BRL) at the NTT Atsugi R&D Center in Atsugi, Kanagawa, Japan. The first symposium was held in March 2000 and its scope and name have evolved into its present form in 2009. The symposium is held biennially and it brings together leading academics, scientists, and students with NTT BRL researchers to foster communications and collaborations.

The BRL School was first held in 2002 and it hosts a series of tutorial lectures given by internationally renowned academics and/or scientists. The BRL School is also held biennially and the theme of the school continuously evolves with emphasis on the latest topics and trends.
