Yuki K. Wakabayashi
Distinguished Researcher / NTT Basic Research Laboratories
I combine precision epitaxy, quantum materials, and AI-driven experimentation to discover new materials and physical phenomena.
My research advances two complementary frontiers: materials science and quantum physics, and AI for Science. New experimental methods enable new physical discoveries, while those discoveries guide the development of smarter experiments.
I investigate magnetic oxides, topological quantum transport, and ultra-wide-bandgap semiconductors, while pioneering machine-learning-driven epitaxy, physics-informed Bayesian optimization, and interpretable self-driving laboratories.
