(contact or )

Research associate and research specialist positions are currently available in the following research topics.

subject On-Chip Cavity QED using Superconducting Qubits
Scheme NTT-BRL succeeded to manipulate quantum state entanglement between a superconducting flux qubit and an LC-harmonic oscillator. Observed vacuum Rabi frequency tells us the coupling strength is nearly 10^7 that of atom-photon. If we use this superconducting artificial atom, so called strong coupling regime is rather easily attainable. In this project, we will challenge to manipulate entanglement and quantum noise of the superconducting quantum circuit, generation of squeezed state and coupling to a nanomechanical resonator etc., to achieve coherent control of several superconducting qubits.
We need highly-motivated persons who are interested in this theme. Persons with experience in operation of dilution refrigerator are welcome.
Duration 1+1 years or 2+1 years depending on the applicant
